The Alex Rodriguez farewell tour has reached its penultimate stop. A-Rod is in the starting lineup. He's the designated hitter and batting clean up. There's some nice symmetry here, as Rodriguez collected his first big league hit at Fenway Park. Funny how those things work out, isn't it?
On the pitching side of things, Michael Pineda will square off against Eduardo Rodriguez in a duel of underperforming starters. Both teams had high expectations for these starters heading into the season, and it hasn't panned out for either. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm and can be seen on YES.
