After yesterday's 20-hit, nine-run offensive explosion, the Yankees send RHP Michael Pineda to the mound against the Chicago White Sox. Pineda was very good in June, a month in which opponents batted .200 against him. Opposite Pineda, the White Sox send up 32 year old RHP Miguel Gonzalez who struggled in June with a 5.86 ERA, although he had a much better 4.18 FIP and pitched a nice game against Houston in his last start, going seven innings and giving up two earned runs. Since Gonzalez is a right handed pitcher, the Yankees send up all left handed hitters except for Starlin Castro. The first pitch is at 8:10pm and you can catch the game on the YES network.
