The Yankees go for the four-game series win today. There are some minor substitutions in the lineup, as Rob Refsnyder and Chase Headley each take a seat in favor of Chris Parmelee and Ronald Torreyes. Parmelee will be making his first start in pinstripes, and will also make his first plate appearance after four games as the first base rookie Refsnyder's late-game caddy. The game will be on YES, MLB Network, and MLB.tv with first pitch coming at 7:05.
That first pitch will come from Nathan Eovaldi, one of the hardest-throwing pitchers in baseball. The first pitch in the bottom of the first from Jered Weaver, who was once quite good but now only averages 83 mph on the gun, a full 14 mph slower than Eovaldi's norm. The contrast is pretty hilarious.
go Yankees, go baseball, go fastballs
