New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins: Nathan Eovaldi vs. Tyler Duffey

Alex Rodriguez has the day off as Nathan Eovaldi looks to get past his June struggles

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

The Yankees are two games over .500 and have won three games in a row. Alex Rodriguez has the day off which moves Carlos Beltran to the designated hitter spot and Aaron Hicks to right field. It's Mark Teixeira's second day back from the disabled list and he is batting fifth today in the lineup. Yesterday, Teixeira went hitless in his return with one walk and strikeout.

June has been an awful month for today's starting pitchers. Nathan Eovaldi has a 9.00 ERA in 20 innings pitched while Tyler Duffey has been even worse with a 9.82 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched. The two starters have given up 13 home runs this month in 38.1 innings pitched. So, if you're sitting in the outfield bleachers in the Bronx today, you have a good shot at catching a ball.

You can watch the game on the YES Network with the first pitch scheduled for 1:05pm.

One roster move to note, the Yankees have called up RHP Luis Cessa and sent down RHP Nick Goody. This move suggests that not all of the Yankees bullpen pitchers are available today.
