New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays: Masahiro Tanaka vs. Aaron Sanchez

The Yanks turn to their ace to avoid a sweep in the land of maple syrup.

Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

Doesn't that six-game winning streak from before Memorial Day weekend feel like a long time ago? The Yankees have lost five of seven since then and have scored only five runs in the past three games combined. They need a win tonight simply to not get swept by the Blue Jays.

Fortunately, they do have Masahiro Tanaka pitching tonight. Toronto obviously has a powerful lineup capable of scoring on anybody, but the question seems to just be if the Yankees can even plate some runs for their ace. Well, guess we'll find out. First pitch is at 7:07pm on YES.

go yankees, go baseball, score some damn runs
