New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles: Luis Severino vs. Chris Tillman

The Yankees turn to their youngest starter to put an end to a five game skid.

Jim Cowsert-USA TODAY Sports

The Yankees continue their road trip with a stop in Baltimore for a three game series with the Orioles. New York is 1-5 on this nine game trip after losing two of three to the Rangers and being swept by the Red Sox. At 8-15 and already six games behind Boston for first place in the AL East, it would seem to behoove the Yankees to start winning games again, or risk being left in the dust.

Luis Severino will start for the fifth time this season. 2016 hasn't been pretty for the young starter, as he has given up 15 runs in just 19.2 innings this year, striking out only 12 in the process. Severino will be opposed by Chris Tillman, a 28 year old right-hander who has had a nice start to the season. Tillman has a 3.24 ERA this year, striking 24 while walking eight in 25 innings.

The game begins at 7:05 EST on the YES Network. Let's hope the Yankees' five game losing streak stops right here.
