Around the Empire

Newsday | Anthony Rieber: Fans of the New York Yankees are not the only ones frustrated while watching this team play. Yankees GM and future person cast as the Human Torch Brian Cashman is also not happy with what he has seen from the Yankees. Unlike fans, he cannot afford to panic. However, he is not opposed to change if the situation warrants it. Take that as you will.

New York Post | Ken Davidoff: While benching Chase Headley is not an easy choice, he hasn't exactly made it a hard choice either. Ronald Torreyes might not be the long term answer, but at least he has an extra base hit. Ken has more suggestions on how to improve this team. Take them as you will.

The Wall St. Journal | Jared Diamond: Luis Severino has not been performing as well as expected. There's the possibility of him being sent to Scranton to work on his mechanics. We'll have to wait and see though.

ESPN | Kieran Darcy: Who's house? Rod's house! If you follow his Twitter account, you've probably seen brief glimpses of the luxurious residence of Alex Rodriguez. Thanks to Architectural Digest, you can now get a better look into the headquarters of A-Rod Corp. Gotta say, it must be nice to have that kind of money.

One More Time by Daft Punk

It's Nostalgia Week on Pinstripe Alley. This classic came out around the time the Yankees were headed towards the end of their amazing Dynasty run. The video is still amazing to this day. As always, please link us your song of the day.
