Another day goes by and another example of the Yankees almost freakish inability to hit when runners are on base or in scoring position rears its ugly head. It's getting to a point where it's almost comical. I say almost because it's still pretty gosh darn frustrating to watch. It's one thing to lose 10-1 while leaving runners on. At least you know the pitching wasn't there. However, wasting a pretty solid performance from CC Sabathia is annoying. Perhaps stop hitting into double plays as soon as a runner gets on first base. Just something to think about on your day off, Yankees.

Both of these statements are undeniably true.
Bathan Geovaldi comes through with the tip. Thanks Bathan!

One positive of yesterday's game is that Alex Rodriguez had himself a good day.

Song of the Day
Thieves in the Temple by Prince
It's Prince Week on Pinstripe Alley. It's so hard to pick a favorite Prince song, but this one is right up there for me. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. The Yankees have today off. Tomorrow, they will play the Red Sox in the Revered Hall of Doubles. The Red Sox are doing well. The Yankees are not. I would like to change both of those things.
