Celebrating the many faces of Mark Teixeira on his 36th birthday

What a man, what a man, what a man.

Mark Teixeira has been a Yankee for eight years now, and at this point, fans pretty much know what to expect from him: Dingers, awesome defense, some frustrating injuries and grounders into the shift, and spreading the good word about veggies and juice. Oh, and of course, Tex faces.

The incredibly detailed story behind Tex faces is that Mark Teixeira sometimes makes funny faces on the baseball field. He has a very expressive face. They are hilarious. The end.

Yes, really!

Even though the man his hit almost 400 homers and is one of the premier switch-hitters of his generation, when his career ends, I will remember the faces the most. That's just how it is. So on the afternoon of his 36th birthday, I thought it would be fun to look back on some of my favorites.
