PSA Comments of the Day 3/21/16: The Yankees have the day off

It's pretty rude for them not to play baseball today.

This is, hands down, the sexiest pose Girardi has ever been in. "Heeeeey"

Before we begin, I just need to further point out that today's photo features the sexiest pose that Joe Girardi has even been in. This is not up for debate. Thank you for acknowledging this fact.

Now that Girardi's sexcellence is out of the way, the Yankees have the day off. Discussing things like what I just discussed is a clear result of the Yankees not playing baseball today. Using scientific method, not to be confused with MIN WETHOD, we can conclude that the Yankees need to not have days off so that I never ever ever bring up these kind of things again. They did play the sport of baseball yesterday. They also won the game they played of the sport of baseball as well. It's only spring training, so their win against the Twins doesn't actually mean anything other that they can pretty much beat the Twins whenever they want.

Ivan Nova took the mound yesterday. His continued attempts to convince us that he'd be a better fifth starter than CC Sabathia did not really show against the Twins. Bryan Mitchell made a good "I belong in the bullpen" case though.

Also, Aaron Hicks showed a glimpse of his arm.

Song of the Day

Secret of the Forest from Chrono Trigger

It's Nature Week on Pinstripe Alley. In a rare occurrence, I've decided to use this week to promote one of my favorite nerd songs. This song comes from the classic SNES game Chrono Trigger. The arrangement of this song is simply amazing and has always been one of my favorites. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for today. The Yankees have the day off. Tomorrow, they will play the Mets in what is probably a must-win game.
