Maybe it's a good thing that it's an off day today. After yesterday's game where the team committed five errors, maybe a day off well let them reset and get their head in the game so to speak. CC Sabathia started yesterdays game but couldn't make it out of the second inning. After him, Dellin Betances, Andrew Miller, Michael Pineda, Aroldis Chapman, and Chasen Shreve all made appearances and looked pretty impressive.
After the game the Yankees announced their first round of cuts from spring training. None of them were really surprising, except maybe Jacob Lindgren who many thought had a legitimate shot at making the Opening Day roster. But hey, ineffectiveness will do that to a player. Here's the full list of players that were cut:

Until next time. Speaking of players being cut...
Comments of the Day
Glad I'm not the only one who is sad about losing Santiago Nessy!
Seriously. Pretty please.
GIF of the Day
In honor of it being Pi Day, here are some Dean Winchester pie gifs!
Honorable Mod Mention
Nikhil wins for his look into how Vanderbilt develops pitchers and seeing if MLB teams can learn anything from them.
Fun Questions
- Besides Lindgren, were there any players who were cut that came as surprise?
- Who do you think will win the NCAA basketball tournament aka March Madness?
Song of the Day
Knockin' Around the Zoo by James Taylor
It's March Madness Week on Pinstripe Alley. I don't really know much about the basketball side of things, so I'll just stick to the "madness" aspect of this week. As always, please link us your song of the day.
It's an off day today, so feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. You can talk about anything in this thread, even the Yankees!
