Batting fifth in the Yankees lineup, Ronald Torreyes.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

There's something I need to get off my chest, and it's something that I think will affect all of you. And I figured there's no better place for my scorching hot take than this thread, so here goes. Masahiro Tanaka is good at baseball. BOOM. I said it. Can't stop me now.

See what I mean? It's time for y'all to accept this, you crazy cats. In addition to Tanaka's excellent outing yesterday, Chasen Shreve pitched 1.1 innings and looked sharp. I've always been of the belief that he just ran out of steam towards the end of the year last year, so if he can just get back to doing what he did earlier in the season, that's just another scary weapon in a bullpen that already houses Fluffy (I'm totally making this a thing and you can't stop me). Maybe the new hill will help Shreve's conditioning so he can remain energized for the whole season.

In potentially good injury news, it seems the Yankees will soon be getting their left fielder back.

Hopefully he can make it back and be first half of 2015 Brett Gardner for both halves of 2016. I mean some (probably just me) say he's the Yankees' Brett and butter.

Honorable Mod Mention

There was no honor to be had yesterday, but since I'm in a giving mood Matt F. wins for no damn reason at all.

Song of the Day

Dance Again by Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull

It's the end of #DALE Week on Pinstripe Alley. This was a fun week where I got to discover some really ridiculous songs while finding songs to share on here. It's over now though, lets see what Greg comes up with us for tomorrow. For now, I want to dance and love and dance again! Goodbye for now, Mr. Worldwide.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for today's game. Luis Severino (or Sorevino) and the Yankees face off against Tampa Bay and their Rays. Here's the lineup Joe Girardi will be sending out:

RONALD TORREYES BATTING FIFTH! Love me some spring training. Today's game will not be broadcast on YES, but will be available via MLB.tv and WFAN. Let's go Yankees!
