Earlier today, I made a FanShot that celebrated Leap Day with a video clip of Melky Cabrera's devilish robbery of a Manny Ramirez homer on June 6, 2006. It's hard to believe that the 10th anniversary of this game is coming up this year, and shortly thereafter, I asked a trivia question on Twitter asking if people could remember the four non-Melky active players who appeared in this game.
That inspired me to take it one step further. How well can the average fan remember that 2006 Yankees roster? They had a tremendous offense and clinched the last of that American League record run of nine straight AL East division titles. They might not have gone far in the playoffs, but they were still quite a fun team.
Yet here we are only a decade later and it can be a challenge remembering everyone on that team. So how well can you fare on this Sporcle quiz? Take it and let us know in the comments!
