Spring Training is officially underway, yet we're still getting news of free agent signings. The notion that teams are more hesitant to sign decent players that could cost them a draft pick gets more and more true every year. The Orioles have signed Yovani Gallardo to a three-year, $35 million deal with $13 million club option for a fourth year. Seems like a solid deal for both sides, as Gallardo comes in and immediately solidifies an Orioles rotation that needed some help and stability.
In Yankees news, most fans are excited at the possibility of seeing the newly formed three-headed monster at the back end of the bullpen, AKA Fluffy. However, Joe Girardi hinted at possibly not seeing all three in the same game.
Regarding the Big 3 in the pen, Girardi mentioned the possibility of only using 2 in games so that 1 is always rested.

This also makes sense so that every day the team at least has a closer available and the chances of Nick Rumbelow coming in the bottom of the ninth with a 1 run lead against the Blue Jays' lineup is pretty low. No offense to good 'ol Nick Ginabove.

Song of the Day
You'll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins
It's Oscars Winners Week on Pinstripe Alley. We're exactly one week from the Academy Awards and I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the past winners of the Best Original Song category. Honestly, at first I didn't want to just limit it to winners, but there are so many good songs to choose from, limiting to just the winners helps me out. Today's song comes from the Disney movie I believe has the best soundtrack. If you want to see the shortened version that was in the movie you can find that here. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Anyone watching The Walking Dead tonight?
