Christmas is nearly here, but it’s no time to start celebrating—you probably have plenty of shopping left to do. Luckily, you have this website and this writer to assist in finding the perfect gift for that Yankees fan in your life. There are plenty of ideas in what follows:
Jerseys
It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is because a new shirsey is a gift that keeps on giving. These are easy and relatively cheap gifts. Might I recommend Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, Masahiro Tanaka, or Dellin Betances? It is probably wise to avoid a Brett Gardner shirsey right now.
There is no Greg Bird shirsey for some ridiculous reason, so you can go all out with a Majestic Yankees home jersey. Get one for each member of the family.
I’m actually a big fan of the team’s batting practice uniform, and if you want something a little different, the Majestic navy alternative jersey could be the one.
I have yet to locate the throwback jerseys the Yankees wore at Fenway Park a few years ago, but this is really nice in kind of the same way. It’s too bad that this 1961 throwback jersey is way more expensive than you would ever want to spend on something for the ballpark.
Memorabilia
If you know someone who is sentimental about the old Yankee Stadium—and who among us isn’t—you can buy them a bottle of dirt to remember the old place by.
Maybe your friend or family member is really into RINGZZ, making this replica ring set the perfect gift for them, even though the rest of us probably don’t want to hang out with them.
To commemorate the final season of Alex Rodriguez, get your loved ones a game-used bat taken directly from the hands of A-Rod himself. The seller seems to have plenty to go around.
Just someone please get me this pin.
Decor
If you want something to hang up on the wall, there are a lot of cool things to find on Etsy. You can purchase a reproduction of a poster for the 1932 World Series between the Yankees and the Cubs.
There is also a cool collage of Yogi Berra quotes, a print of Yankee Stadium made on a page out of the dictionary, and an amazingly detailed illustration of the old stadium.
Now, if you wanted to mess with someone, you could buy them a nice picture immortalizing the late Derek Jeter after he tragically died during the 2014 season.
Clothing
If you like ugly sweaters, we have two choices for you. One is an awesome depiction of Alex Rodriguez on the “Rockin’ A-Rod the Christmas Tree” sweater, and the other is a very troubling item of clothing with detachable props or something.
On a deadly serious note, make your gift say “we are all Gary” with one of Gary Sanchez’s #IAmGary line t-shirts. Please get me the one with the Kraken playing baseball, thanks.
Most importantly, though, you need to purchase at least five of the newly released ArodCorp polo shirts available through the ArodShop. This is a limited release and 100% of the profits go directly to charity, so there’s no reason not to buy!
If I can engage in just a little self-promotion, remember that Pinstripe Alley has its own custom shirts available. Our two newest shirts honor Aaron Judge and Alex Rodriguez. You can also get our Bird is the word shirt here. Why not get all three? (I don’t get any of the money)
