The final days of the World Series are a bit nerve-wracking for fans who aren’t ready to see baseball pack its things for the long winter. We want to see maximum baseball before trading it in for football or basketball or hockey for the offseason. In order to get maximum baseball, everyone should be a Cubs fan tonight.
If Jake Arrieta and the Cubs can win to force a Game 7, we’ll all get to reap the reward of a winner-take-all game tomorrow. That’s really the most excitement we can hope for as fans of a team that isn’t in the running. Josh Tomlin will be trying to send the Cubs home to Chicago without a championship a day earlier.
Who will win? Are you just hoping for the series to go seven games? Let us know in the comments below.
