With Yoenis Cespedes signing a deal to return to the Mets, all the major free agents have signed with the teams they'll play for in 2016. It'll be interesting to see how long these free agents remain with their teams, as the biggest recurring theme of this off-season has been opt-out clauses. Everyone's getting them! And Cespedes has an opt-out after just one year. So Mets fans have to hope that they can put something together and win this year because unless he has a truly miserable year, it's almost a 100% certainty that he will be a free agent again next winter, especially considering how weak the free agent market is next season. And knowing the Wilpons, there's almost a 0% chance Cespedes resigns with the Mets if he has another big year. Meanwhile the Yankees have not signed anyone to a major league contract this offseason, which is fun un-fun.

Honorable Mod Mention
Caitlin wins the HMM for braving the bad time zone and writing news posts at 5pm BTZ (PST) and scheduling them for 7am GTZ (EST). How noble.

Song of the Day
The Heat is On by Glenn Frey
It's Glenn Frey week on Pinstripe Alley. Last week, Vitamin String Quartet week took another victim and the world lost Glenn Frey. Frey was one of the founding members of the Eagles and also did his own solo stuff after the band broke up. Seeing as how the East Coast just went through a blizzard, I figure most residences would probably have the heat turned on. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Please feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. As mentioned, AFC and NFC Championship games are today. While I want Peyton Manning to finally win a second ring, I just at least want the Broncos and the Cardinals to win today so that way either Peyton Manning will get is second ring, or Larry Fitzgerald will finally get one. Win-win situation.
