Yesterday was the first day of 2016. Because most people were recovering from celebrating the night before, not much was happening in the way of news. The biggest news of the day came from the South Side of Chicago, as the White Sox are still looking to address their offense by adding another outfielder. They've been tied to two of the big free agent names out there in Yoenis Cespedes and Alex Gordon. It'll be interesting to see how all this plays out for them, as they are apparently only willing to commit three years to either player. Both players are surely looking for a longer commitment from the team that they sign with, so if the White Sox are serious about signing one of them they're going to have to be willing to commit longer.
