According to St. Louis Cardinals GM John Mozeliak, there has reportedly been more momentum towards the National League finally coming around to the sane way of doing things and adopting a designated hitter. While he notes this isn't likely to happen anytime soon, just the fact that the conversation is being brought up and there's "more momentum" is a good thing for baseball. While we all think it's funny to watch Bartolo Colon at-bat, pitchers batting is just bad for baseball and makes no sense. Hopefully we can see the DH in both leagues sooner rather than later.

Song of the Day
Snow (Hey Oh) by Vitamin String Quartet
It's back to Vitamin String Quartet week on Pinstripe Alley. Depending on where you live, but if you were in the NY/NJ area it snowed yesterday. This is the first time I saw snow all winter so it just made me happy because snow is wonderful and this winter has been pretty rude so far. I figured it was only appropriate that this was the SOTD then. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Now send me a blizzard, winter!
