The Yankees have been pretty quiet since the new year began. After signing Kirby Yates and other minor league players the other day, things are back to what we would consider normal. Right now, it's pretty much anyone's guess as to their further plans. The rest of baseball seems to be pretty quiet on the offseason front right now. There are still free agents to be had. Justin Upton and Yoenis Cespedes are still available. Whether they come at a high price or not remains to be seen. Okay, that's enough of that. Let's get to the praising of David Bowie.

Tom Scibelli wins for his look into why the Yankees should sign Justin Upton if they can get him at a discount.

Song of the Day

The Man Who Sold The World by David Bowie

With apologies to my fellow COTDer, I am making it David Bowie week, in honor of the recently deceased. David Bowie...where do I even begin? I think he is one of the all time greatest musicians to ever grace this planet. His imagination and genius shined through his many incredible songs. Seriously, I could make this David Bowie month on Pinstripe Alley and I'd easily have enough fantastic songs to fill said month. A truly amazing and talented man left the world today. His music will live on forever. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. R.I.P. David Bowie.
