PSA Comments of the Day 9/29/15: The leaves are falling

The Yankees lost to the Red Sox yesterday. That is never a thing they should do, but it happened. Try not to do that again tonight, please.

Nothing much to report from yesterday. The Yankees lost to the Red Sox. Losing to Boston meant that they did not clinch a postseason berth yet, nor did that notch their 10,000th franchise win. You know, all that exciting stuff I told you about in yesterday's COTD thread. At least Ivan Nova didn't pitch all that badly. Yeah, he gave up four runs. Outside of those two dinger mistakes, a lot of his pitches were working yesterday. Two tough losses in a row for him, with no offensive support at all. Michael Pineda will take the mound tonight in the Yankees' quest to do everything I typed up above.

Comments of the Day

I don't know if that's a statement about himself or Matthew Funtime.

Hidden behind those spoiler boxes are terrible suggestions.

Defeat!

Honorable Mod Mention

I'm giving myself the HMM award, just to spite LTL and possibly noonoo!

Fun Questions

  • Whether alone or with friends, do you take your smart phone out at a restaurant?
  • Better/easier class assignment: a 15 page research paper or a 2-3 page paper in which you had to read it aloud to the class?

Song of the Day

Autumn Serenade by John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman

It's Autumn Week on Pinstripe Alley. Another classic song, this time a little bit jazzier. We need more jazz on PSA! As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Substantial Miguel could use a big performance tonight. More importantly, the offense could use to break out of its slump.

go yankees go baseball i'll still feel the glow that time can not fade
