PSA Comments of the Day 9/21/15: And here we go

After an afternoon in which the Blue Jays lost, the Yankees did what they needed to do yesterday and beat the Mets. The most important series of the year has come.

Everything about yesterday's game was positive. The Yankees beat the Mets and thus won the series, the Blue Jays lost to the Red Sox, CC Sabathia continued to pitch well, and the offense came alive after Matt Harvey was taken out. With said offensive explosion, the key pieces of our bullpen were given a nice night off as they head to Toronto to start the most important three game series of the year. With the lead over the Yankees now only 2.5 games, the Yankees have a great opportunity to make up some ground or, dare we dream, overtake the Blue Jays for first place of the AL East. That will not be an easy task, as our pitching is somewhat subject right now. Adam Warren, still not fully stretched out yet, will start tonight's game. Be that as it may, how can you not be excited for this series? This is what baseball is all about!

Comments of the Day

Dragon Slayer Dustin Ackley definitely has a nice ring to it.

We would all watch a channel devoted to Alex Rodriguez.

Carlos Beltran is awesome.

So is our resident Dragon Slayer

Dayum, Yankees twitter.

Always funny.

The Mets have now heard!

I don't think it's okay to be nervous about a ten run lead when this man takes the mound.

Beltran!

Joe Girardi, inches away from a fine and suspension.

Victory!

Honorable Mod Mention

Um, I win. No questions asked.

Song of the Day

Dead Souls by Nine Inch Nails

It's Cover Songs Week on Pinstripe Alley. Today's cover song comes from Nine Inch Nails, who cover this song from Joy Division. Fans of the movie The Crow probably recognize this track. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. There is not much else to say. If the Yankees want the AL East, they need to win this series. Go do that!
