PSA Comments of the Day 8/8/15: Maybe learn to hit a knuckleball

The Yankees faces two knuckleball pitchers this week. They lost both of those games due to their inability to hit them. Perhaps it's time to start taking lessons.

Last night's loss was not a fun one. Nathan Eovaldi pitched a pretty fantastic game, holding the dangerous Blue Jays lineup to just one run. Unfortuantely, the Yankees could do nothing against R.A. Dickey and the infinitely annoying knuckleball. While many people afterwards were questioning Joe Girardi's decision to put in Brandon Pinder against the heart of their lineup, or for not bringing in a pinch hitter for Stephen Drew, that all ignores the fact that the Yankees cannot hit a knuckleball and should really start learning how to. With one game of this three game series out of the way, they will now send Ivan Nova to the mound to face David Price.

Comments of the Day

Glad we got that cleared up.

Wow.

Mike Trout is still young.

It would be funnier if the Yankees wound up winning.

The Yankees did not agree.

Yeah.

Well done, everyone!

Yeah, you already said that in the opening paragraph. Jerk!

Honorable Mod Mention

Jason had to write the recap for that frustrating loss. He wins!

Song of the Day

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia theme

It's the last day of PA Songs Week on Pinstripe Alley. I figured that we should end this week with what will one day be a classic TV theme song. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Ivan Nova last pitched against the White Sox and he was fantastic. Here's hoping he can repeat that performance against the Blue Jays.
