The Yankees go for a much-desired series sweep in Atlanta this afternoon as they take on the Braves at Turner Field. It might very well be the last game they ever play at "the Ted," as the Braves are planning on moving into a new ballpark in 2017. It's a little odd that they will have only played in Turner Field for about 20 years by the time they move, but the Yankees sure have some nice memories of this place from the 1999 World Series sweep:
If this is it, farewell, Ted. The Yankees will try to honor your memory by completing another sweep. There is rain in the area, so there could be a delay, but since they are so late in the season, they will do everything possible to try to get this game in.
You can catch the action on YES Network, Fox Sports South, and MLB.tv at 1:35pm.
Go Yankees, go baseball, go #NastyNate.
