New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays: Ivan Nova vs. Erasmo Ramirez

Going for the sweep.

Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

Back-to-back walkoff wins have clinched this series for the Yankees, and now Ivan Nova takes the mound for his third start of the year, looking to close out a sweep.

The Rays counter with Erasmo Ramirez, one of the pitchers who have been pressed into rotation service due to Tampa Bay's brutal injury record particularly among starters. Ramirez has had a bit of injury trouble of his own this season, missing a bit of time with a groin strain. After scoring a combined two runs against the previous two starters Chris Archer and Nathan Karns, the Yankee offense will hopefully get some runs early in this game and not need quite so much late excitement to get the win.

Go Yankees, go baseball, go sweeping a divisional rival.
