The Yanks try to extend Tampa's losing streak to seven games as Big Mike takes the mound on July 4th.

After last night's exhilarating walk-off win, the Yankees and Rays must return to the ballpark just quick night of sleep later for the afternoon game today. Michael Pineda is on the hill opposing Nathan Karns, and you know what happened the last time Pineda pitched on a holiday; he should do that again!

Of course, Karns is no pushover, either. He's been a bit of a surprise in the Tampa rotation this year with a 3.26 ERA, 3.78 FIP, and 84 strikeouts in 91 innings, 14 2/3 of which have come against the Yankees. None of those three starts were exceptional, as he didn't last longer than five in any of them, but he kept Tampa in the game with, at worst, two-run ball. Here's hoping it's "fourth time's the charm" for the Yankees' offense.

You can catch the game at 1:05pm on FOX Sports 1 or, but do make sure to enjoy the holiday today. Happy 4th of July!
