Pinstripe Pride is in full effect as the Yankees defeated the Twins yesterday. That win secured their six straight series victory in a row. Not much more to say about that, other than hooray, sweet, and excellent. Speaking of excellent, Nathan Eovaldi pitched one of his best games of the year yesterday. You cannot even use the "Well it's just the Twins" excuse, seeing as how their offense is not to be underestimated. Even since that game against the Marlins, Eovaldi has been great. We'll continue to see if he has turned the corner, but you cannot help but be encouraged after seeing his recent performances. You also cannot help but be encouraged about the Yankees this year after this month.

Woohoo!
Eduardo Nunez wishes he were as good as Dee Gordonarius.
I don't think they are saying Drew-urns.
Well done!
Stable Eovaldi might be better.
Papa Johns is awful.
That streak was broken yesterday in the ninth. Still though, not bad.
Haven't you seen his interviews after the game?
It's safe to say that Mike Trout's power level is way over nine thousand.

Song of the Day
It's Commercial Jingle Week on Pinstripe Alley. To this day, I still love the sweet, soothing melody of the Food Emporium commercial. Ahhhhhh. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Ivan Nova gets the start today against the Rangers. Alex Rodriguez also turns 40 today. No better present than to start off a four game series with a win. Let's do that, shall we?
