PSA Comments of the Day 6/6/15: Regular, non-magic beans for Esmil Rogers. Who says no?

New, comments

Get it done, Cash. Seriously.

My reaction as well.

Yesterday I joked about the Yankees trading Esmil Rogers to the Angels for Mike Trout. Today, I am not joking when I say that I would like Rogers to be traded for actual beans. I'm not even talking about beans of the magical variety. No, just regular, every day beans will do. Hopefully by the time this post is up, he will be traded for beans or just simply DFA'd. Either is perfectly acceptable.

Aside from Esmil, the majority of last night's game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on the third planet from the Sun was very enjoyable. While losing it in the 6th inning, Nathan Eovaldi shut the Angels down for the most part. Chasen Shreve and Jacob Lindgren are showing why David Carpenter served little purpose. Oh, and the offense scored eight runs. Eight much needed runs as it turns out. Alex Rodriguez had himself a night, as did one Stephen Drew. Yes, THAT Stephen Drew. Two dingers in one day off of Jered Weaver. Wow. Sometimes baseball makes little sense.

Pinstripe Alley: Exposing the truth for everyone.

At least we learned that Drew has a Sterling HR call.

Bean Wright now. Bean Wright forever.

I get it!

Do not attempt to run on Eovaldi.

Oh yeah!

LTL is the Nigerian Prince of PSA!

We've got some tailor made puns right here.

This time it counts.

Like we said above. Vote.

NOTE: A good portion of the next COTD posts are solely about Esmil Rogers.

Literally. Go to the supermarket and buy a can of Goya.

Pretty much this.

YES' YouTube channel really needs to put out vids of those songs.

Perhaps a future minor league scout.

GIF of the Day

Love this Strikeout Factor GIF so much.

Honorable Mod Mention

This goes to Matthew Floratos. What should have been an easy, fun recap assignment was ruined by that 9th inning. Yeesh.

Fun Questions

  • What is your favorite type of pork to eat? (Bacon, Sausage, Korean Spicy Pork, Ribs, etc.)
  • How many innings does Adam Warren pitch tonight?

Song of the Day

A View To A Kill by Duran Duran

It's James Bond Week on Pinstripe Alley. This is one of those cases where the song is probably better than the movie. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. The Yankees scored eight runs yesterday. It would be nice to get that again, considering we most likely do not have Dellin Betances available to us tomorrow. Or maybe Adam Warren could pitch a complete game shutout. That would be swell. This winning streak is currently at four games. Let's make it five.
