This is not the Astros team I remember watching. They are new and improved, and they now have a bona fide ace in Dallas Keuchel. He was absolutely dominant, and you honestly cannot fault the Yankees for losing last night. The Yankees' offense actually hasn't been bad this year, but they were schooled by Keuchel. Tip your cap and move on.
Tonight is the second game of this four game set, and Nathan Eovaldi will take on Vincent Velasquez. Eovaldi has had his fair share of struggles, and Velasquez is a promising prospect just starting to get his feet wet.
The game will start at 8:10 pm EST, and you can watch on YES, MLB.tv, MLB Network, or you can listen on WFAN radio.
Comments of the Day
Exactly. There's really no sense in fuming over one game, or getting too excited for that matter. The baseball season is really long, and we'll get some clarity in due time.
If they take the Ghost of Steinbrenner, I'm in.
The 2013 Yankees were so, so, so, so, so, so, so, bad.
LTL: up to his usual tricks.
I sometimes forget how lucky I am to be able to take the train to the game. To all the Yankees fans dispersed throughout the country and the world, I salute you.
I agree.
I'm a big fan of Dallas from Houston.
