PSA Comments of the Day 5/9/15: Waffle House

The Yankees will not lose this series. There is still a good chance they win it. Betances and Miller are okay. There's a birthday party going on in this thread. Bring presents, booze, and a Yankee victory.

With yesterday's win, the Yankees have guaranteed that they will not lose this four game series against the Orioles. It also means that if they win the game today, they will win the series. Furthermore, if they win both today and tomorrow they will sweep the Orioles. I don't know about you, but I would like that very much. Let us see how they do today with Chase Whitley on the mound.

BRAIN MCCANN!

We could use some more Eofficient outings from Nathan Eovaldi.

This is not wrong.

Well played.

Didi's mustache hairs need their own regal YES music.

Right field fans let us down on Thursday. Shameful.

Ticking clocks.

We've had quite a bit of poetry on Pinstripe Alley these past couple of days.

And there we are.

Sources confirm that winning is better than losing.

We do indeed. It's a miracle.

That's pretty good I suppose.

Jacoby Ellsbury. I like him and so should you.

GIF of the Day

Are you pondering what I'm pondering?

Another live look at Carlos Beltran.

Never mind. He did a thing!

There were a lot of Victory GIFs in the recap thread last night, so today I'm just picking one. You can probably guess why!

Honorable Mod Mention

The winner is obviously Tanya. You know, it being her birthday and all. Happy Birthday!

Fun Questions
  • As an adult, which childish place would you choose to hold your birthday party at?
  • How many innings will Chase Whitley pitch today?
Song of the Day

Two Princes by Spin Doctors

The last song for 90's week is in honor of the birthday girl. Thus ends 90's week, which was her suggestion to begin with. If you have any suggestions for next week's theme, please post your ideas. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.

Feel free to use this as an open thread. Chase Whitley will take the mound against the Fightin' Showalters this afternoon. Whitley pitched an absolute gem against the Blue Jays on Monday, but did not get the win due to the bullpen. Here's hoping for a similar performance from him and a better result from everyone else.
