PSA Comments of the Day 5/31/15: Last day in May

The Yankees will hope to split this series against the A's and then leave May behind them on their way to Seattle.

Gotta love that face.
Gotta love that face.
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Nathan Eovaldi did not have the best of outings yesterday. He gave up a lot of hits, but thankfully not many runs. Said lack of runs given up allowed the Yankees offense and bullpen to pick him up and provide the Yankees with a needed win over the Athletics. It's great to see Brian McCann and Carlos Beltran hitting. It was also a great outing in the field for newly called up outfielder Ramon Flores. Now if the Yankees can do everyone a solid and split this series with a win this afternoon, they can leave the city of Oakland and the month of May behind on their way to June and Seattle.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Adam Warren takes the mound in his final game against the A's. With Tanaka coming back on Wednesday and a rotation spot hanging in the balance, it would be wise of Warren not to give the Yankees a reason to put him in the bullpen over Chris Capuano.
