After dropping six in a row, the Yankees rebounded to drub one of the league's best teams on Memorial Day with a decisive 14-1 victory. Unfortunately, runs don't carry over from the previous day, so they will need another strong showing to win their second straight game. It would be awesome not to worry about potentially losing another series by simply taking the game tonight, especially with Royals starter Jason Vargas returning from injury on a limited 75-pitch count.
As the great Lou Brown once said...
Ignore the fact that if memory serves me correctly, Cleveland promptly lost a bunch of games in a row after this scene. That team is fictional because it proposes the theory that the Indians are a winning organization.
Go Yankees, go baseball.
