PSA Comments of the Day 5/25/15: And now the Royals are in town.

The Yankees just got swept by the Rangers. Now the Royals are in town for three games. May just keeps on rolling along.

The Yankees have had better months. It's been bad, folks. They have been losing in pretty much every single way possible these past two weeks. If they score a lot, they give up more. If the pitching does well, they don't score. Lackluster pitching, a tired bullpen, spotty hitting, and simply piss poor defense have all been there. There's no sugar coating it at all. The Yankees have been playing badly. What's really surprising is that, despite all of that, they're still only 1.5 games out of first place in the AL East. That's because the AL East has been pretty terrible as a whole. It's almost the end of the month and no one is running away with this division. Just keep that in mind while you're in the Angry Dome.

Comments of the Day

Go Notes. They are much appreciated.

Truly a magnificent version of Take Me Out To The Ballgame by Bernie Williams.

They played this song at the end of Bernie's celebration. Naturally.

Probably not as much fun as a regular PSA Road Trip.

GIF of the Day

This is really the only GIF that matters from yesterday.

Honorable Mod Mention

Prof. Mahbles informed me that my tweet of the above Bernie "swag slide" GIF was put into an article. So yeah, I guess I win.

Fun Questions

  • It's Memorial Day. If you have any stories to share about anyone whom you remember or honor on this day, please share them.
  • Do you think the Yankees can sweep the Royals? Be honest!

Song of the Day

No Easy Way Out by Robert Tepper

I figured this was the most appropriate song for the Yankees right now. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Still need a win, Yankees. Also, as it is Memorial Day, today we honor and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country and freedom.
