Do you remember when the Yankees were playing well this year? It was pretty sweet. While a trip to the Trop heralded their incredible month in April, the second trip to the Trop started off a downward spiral of sucking. Since that four game series against the Rays, the Yankees have only won two out of eleven games. It's hard to believe we're watching the same team right now, but here we are. What's fortunate, or sad depending on how you look at it, is that the Yankees are still only 1.5 games out of first. Way to go, AL East.
Meanwhile, in happier news, Bernie Williams will officially have his #51 number retired tonight before the game. Since it's an 8PM ESPN Sunday Night Baseball game for some reason, YES will have live coverage of the ceremony. Be sure not to miss it as it could be the most enjoyable thing of the night.Comments of the Day

Song of the Day
La Salsa En Mi by Bernie Williams
We'll eventually get to theme week tomorrow. Maybe we won't. But today is Bernie Williams Day so today gets a Bernie Williams song. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. The Yankees need a win. Desperately. In any case, congrats to Bernie Williams on getting his number retired. Well deserved.
