The Yankees did not have that good of a week. Their games on Monday and Saturday were enjoyable, but the rest were not. The offense is slumping and the bullpen, outside of the Twin Terminators of Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller, have been shaky. Chris Capuano's return went as most people expected it would. All in all, just a week we should put behind us. If there's any consolation it's that the Yankees had a really tough schedule. They played thirty games in thirty one days and their record during that time was 19-11. Not bad at all. Perhaps this last week of ineptitude was just fatigue. Baseball is a long, long battle. We're still in first place, for now. It still doesn't look like the AL East has a guaranteed lock for anything. Here's hoping they can bounce right back against the Nationals on Tuesday. For now though, get some rest.

And a congrats to Blanky as well.
You know, while every other team does a Star Wars day, perhaps the Yankees should do a Highlander day.
