Yankees at Rays: Whitley vs. Ramirez

The past two games for the Yankees started out great, where in each game, the Yankees scored two runs in the top of the first. From there on, however, it wasn't smooth sailing, as the Yankees gave up four unanswered and three unanswered runs, respectively. So apparently, good starts aren't so good for the Stache Squad. The Yankees will look to split the series against the Rays with a win tonight. They will send Chase Whitley to the mound in his fourth start of the season, and he will face Tampa's Erasmo Rodriguez, who will make just his third start for the Rays. Among the lineup notes, Chris Young comes in for Carlos Beltran, while Jose Pirela comes in for Stephen Drew, both Drew and Beltran coming out for rest. Other than that, it's the typical lineup for the Yankees. All the action starts at 7:10 and can be seen on YES. Let's go Yankees, even this series.
