As if to put a final stamp of depression and frustration on the Yankees' opening week, tonight brings the joy of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball back into our baseball watching lives. It's the Yankees vs. the Red Sox, so obviously no other game matters. I'd say we could create a drinking game based on the number of times the rivalry or Alex Rodriguez are mentioned, but we here at Pinstripe Alley like our commenters to have functioning everything.
Comments of the Day
Dollar Shave Club is awaiting, Napoli.
Again, I'm happy this meme is spreading.
ESPN Sunday Night Baseball or the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 5?
/pours one out for Travis Ishikawa
If only he really knew how doomed the Yankees really are
Could be worse!
What a welcome!
That reminds me.... /to my Twitter account
I still would like pujol's
It wouldn't be a PSA birthday party without them!
This post is definitely A positive.
You know, everything in that room was the same color for the most part.
GIF of the Day
This GIF. I still love this GIF.
When you think about it, we really are an odd species.
I don't think many people laughed though.
Carloss would probably like to say hi to Victor one of these days.
Still love this GIF as well.
Honorable Mod Mention
Waffles wins the HMM for this! Pinstripe Alley is the best site, but clearly we shoulda got TJS.
Andrew takes home a HMM of his own for callin' the Chris Young dinger.
- Which would you rather do? 1. Watch and listen to the ESPN Sunday Night Baseball crew. 2. Watch the broadcast but mute the audio and listen to Sterling and Waldman. 3. Watch the broadcast but mute the audio and listen to music. 4. Build an ark.
- Time wise, how long do you think this game will go tonight?
I was thinking of doing a Songs from Anime Week on Pinstripe Alley. So I decided to start the week off with the best one. Even if we don't go this musical route this week, this is still a kick ass song. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.
Feel free to use this as an open thread. The game is not on till 8PM tonight because, we'll you know. Masahiro Tanaka faces Clay Buchholz. Both of them SGTJS!
As always, [expletive deleted] Boston.
