PSA Comments of the Day 4/11/15: Tip your cap to the bullpen

All I'm going to say about last night's game is to tip your cap to the Yankees' bullpen.

Bravo, good sir.

Talking about the game last night/this morning would only serve to remind me of the sheer misery of it all. So instead, let's talk about the Yankees' bullpen. It was said going into the year that the bullpen was going to be a strength. Yesterday's odyssey of extra innings proved that to be true. Esmil Rogers earned a new amount of respect for what he did last night. Obviously he gave up runs, but not enough where the Yankees couldn't come back and tie. In any case, bravo Yankees bullpen. Hopefully Adam Warren will give you a bit of rest today.

Comments of the Day

I like that this has become a meme now!

Felt so bad for Meredith and all the crew working that game last night.

Hmmmm I don't know if I wanna associate a losing GIF name with Aaron Judge.

Can you imagine if last night's awfulness was the ESPN Sunday Night Baseball game? /violently shudders

This was before seven hours of baseball.

I think we all knew it was coming.

Do better, Refsnyder. Please.

Looking back on this, I wish Blob was wrong.

Even though this was used for the power outage delay, it pretty much describes the entire game.

This was perfect.

GIF of the Day

I'm just going to leave these GIF in a row, in order, without commentary. They tell you all you really need to know.

Honorable Mod Mention

There's no question that Caitlin wins the HMM after having to write the recap of that clusterbunt of a game.

Fun Questions
  • How many innings does Adam Warren give us today?
  • How long would you stay at a game that went into extra innings?
Song of the Day

First song that came to my mind when thinking of how last night's game went. Of course, I might still rather watch 7 hours of baseball than Batman Forever. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.

Feel free to use this as an open thread. Adam Warren gets the start today. Please go the distance, Warren. The pen needs a vacation.

As always, [expletive deleted] Boston.
