Lohud | Josh Thomson: After Chris Capuano fell to an injury, Adam Warren stepped up and won the fifth rotation spot out of camp. He will make his debut for the season today, and he's excited to get this opportunity. He knows that if he does well, he could solidify himself in the rotation.

CBS New York: Brian Cashman has had to explain the Yankees' slow start, and he has agreed that the team played a sloppy series against Toronto. When asked about the hitting deficiencies in the older players, he essentially said that they would have to wait for their bats to inevitably turn around. He did feel, though, that Alex Rodriguez was swinging the bat very well.

NJ.com | Brendan Kuty: To start off the season, Pedro Martinez delivered his Yankees #HotTakes. He tweeted that he believed that A-Rod would hit if he was healthy, and that he was not worried about CC Sabathia because of how early it is in the season.

NY Daily News | Bill Madden, Teri Thompson: Well, we're in for a circus when A-Rod finally reaches the next home run milestone. The Yankees are expected to contest his bonuses on the basis that the records were tainted, essentially making the events unmarketable. The Players' Association, however, is expected to back A-Rod. This will likely lead to an arbitrator deciding on the case, so get your popcorn out, folks.
