While the Yankees did lose to the Rays yesterday, further cementing the ultimate status of their "doomedness," Adam Warren helped his cause to become the Yankees' fifth starter out of spring training. In 3.2 innings, he struck out five, walked one, and allowed four hits and one earned run. That earned run was an Evan Longoria home run. Considering that half of Evan Longoria's career dinger total probably comes via pinstriped pitching, I think we can allow him a little leeway on that earned run. Keep up the good work, Warren. I'm pretty sure a majority of Yankee fans are rooting for you to keep that starter role when Chris Capuano returns. It helps when Esmil Rogers seems determined to go full Mitre on us.

This is true. The Boss-Rotisserie Machine doesn't come cheap. It costs time, a lot of money, and all the souls captured by Giant Steinbrenner Face in Monument Dungeon.
#3 should be obvious. LTL keeps the Bean Wright meme machine operating 24/7.

You know, the Yankees have been getting sillier lately.
Honorable Mod Mention
Nothing honorable happened yesterday. Let's hope for some honor today.
- What do you feel is an underrated food item to have for breakfast?
- Which would you prefer: A suit that made you invisible or a suit that made you fly?
Since we already listened to Regulate after Warren's last start, I thought This DJ would be a nice secondary Warren G song to go with. Plus it fits in with this week's theme. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. The Yankees will take on the Phillies today at 1PM. The game will be an MLBN delayed game, which potentially means having to listen to the Phillies broadcasters. If you just let out a loud "NNNNOPE," we here at Pinstripe Alley completely understand. We'll have a game thread up at 12:30PM.
