Not only has the spring training wall been brought back, but now it's build out of sterner stuff. After the Yankees lost to the Mets yesterday, hope is now all but lost. Masahiro Tanaka gave up dingers, Dellin Betances is doomed, and that's all there is to it. Pack it up and cash it in.
Comments of the Day
Betances had not had the best spring training. Of course, it's still just spring training.
Spring training, ladies and gentlemen.
Again, this is uncanny.
It's nice to be loved!
GIF of the Day
Rodan never liked Hideki Matsui that much.
Brian McCann is right. Smalls is killing us all.
Honorable Mod Mention
Sorry folks. There's no honor to be had when the season is over with
- What was your first favorite movie as a child?
- What average thing catches your eye when it comes to beauty and art? (CD/Record covers, forests, buildings, waterfalls, stuff like that)
It's like that, man, it's like that. It's like that, man, it's like that. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. The Yankees will face off against the Rays this afternoon at 1PM. Honestly, I'd rather face the Rays in their spring training stadium than in their actual stadium. The game will be a MLBN delay game, meaning it will be on later in the day, which means you'll have to potentially listen to the Rays broadcast crew. Kudos to whomever does that.
