PSA Comments of the Day 2/3/15: Light our darkest hour

New, comments

All is dark in the Yankees Universe right now. As in, nothing is happening. Pitchers and catchers cannot report soon enough. Also, now pitchers and catchers report in Gene "Stick" Michael days.

There are only seventeen days before pitchers and catchers report. It has been a long time since the Yankees have done anything team wise. It would be nice if they could say, I don't know, sign Yoan Moncada already. Or perhaps trade for a starting pitcher. At this point in time, I'd be perfectly happy with them announcing some new food and drinks available at Yankee Stadium. Give us something!

Comments of the Day

There was only one COTD yesterday. I'm not sure if I should be proud of YankeeOutsider or ashamed of everyone else.

I'm sure there is some alternate universe out there in which Aaron Boone did not injure himself. I am curious what became of that Earth's New York Yankees team.

GIF of the Day

There were no GIFs yesterday. It was a really light day. Mondays, AMIRITE?

Honorable Mod Mention

Again, it was a really light day. No mod was all that honorable.

Fun Questions
  • Name some of your favorite TV show/sitcom theme songs!
  • Rank your ice skating skills on a scale of 1 to 10. (1 being "nervous ice walk" and 10 being "think I'll head to the Winter Olympics!")
Song of the Day

Roundball Rock by John Tesh

I do not follow basketball or the NBA all that much. However, this is the theme I will always associate with it. John Tesh did an amazing and rousing job with the NBA on NBC theme. Even legendary rapper Nelly used this song for one of his timeless rap songs. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Why haven't the Yankees done anything in a while? Do you think they enjoy making us suffer?

When will then be now?
