As Yankee fans, we sometimes tend to get upset with our manager, one Joe Girardi, for potentially over-thinking a situation. Perhaps he uses one reliever too many, or something like that. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I cannot recall a single time in which Girardi did something as insanely idiotic as what Pete Caroll and the Seattle Seahawks did last night in the Super Bowl. Unbelievable.
Comments of the Day
Awwwwwwwwwww
No penguin, not even Victor, could have predicted that ending.
I believe the same rules as the WWE apply here. "If the ref didn't see it, it didn't happen!"
This was probably my most popular tweet ever. Go me!
18-1 and all that!
It would be nice if the offense...what's the word I'm looking for here...oh yeah, improves!
We shall hope that Masahiro Tanaka and Michael Pineda stay healthy. If not, I've got bleach for everyone.
GIF of the Day
No flag on that play.
Holding. Offense. 10 yard penalty.
Honorable Mod Mention
I could give it to myself for my Tweet, but nah. It wasn't all that honorable. Therefore, no one gets it.
- Favorite Super Bowl commercial? (I won't ask least favorite, because all the answers will be Nationwide)
- Is there any song in particular you love to hear when you're at a baseball game?
Continuing with Sports Theme Week, I bring you this. I don't know if Tennis officially uses this at its theme, but it is pretty much always played during one of the four major opens. As always, please link us your Song of the Day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Football is over and done with. Soon we will have the Yankees back in our sports watching lives. I cannot wait.
Seriously, how do you not give it to Lynch?
