I have to apologize to you, dear Pinstripe Alley reader. For those of who out there who were dreaming of Stephen Drew reuniting with the Yankees, your "reDrewion" dreams have just been destroyed. I'm not apologizing for that last pun though. The Washington Nationals have decided to surround future Yankee Bryce Harper with former Yankee Stephen Drew. Drew will be earning a guaranteed $3 million dollars to inform future Yankee Bryce Harper how wonderful playing in the Bronx really is. At least, that's why I assume the Nats signed him. What other logical reason is there for Drew to be on the Nationals? Here's Pinstripe Alley's twitter reaction to the news.
