Here me out for a second. Perhaps we're just going about this in the wrong way. Maybe Brian Cashman and the Yankees have already made a move or five and they've just decided to keep it a secret. It could be that these moves are so incredible, so outside the box, so dastardly clever that Cashman cannot afford to let it slip what they are. The force of such earth shattering trades and signings might well destroy the very fabric of baseball as we know it. The entire NL Central could just simply collapse entirely. If this is the case, thank you Cashman. Thank you for protecting the sport of baseball. If this is not the case, could you maybe do something one day?

Song of the Day
The Long Song (Proms version) by Murray Gold
It's New Year/Beginnings week on Pinstripe Alley. I know this is shocking, but I'm going to be a little nerdy with today's choice for this week's theme. This song was played when the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith, regenerated into the 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi. I really love this song and it symbolizes new beginnings to me. The Proms version is just because I really really like this version of it. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. So any big plans for the remainder of 2015?
