Brett Gardner seems to be the man of the hour in the merry ol' land of pinstripes. Granted, he's always brought up in some way during every offseason. It has definitely been more prominent this offseason. Carlos Beltran is not going anywhere, the Yankees just acquired Aaron Hicks from the Twins, and odds are pretty high that they cannot trade Jacoby Ellsbury. They have Mason Williams, Slade Heathcott, and new 40-man roster invitee Ben Gamel to supposedly replace him. The first two have yet to show the Yankees a 100% healthy season though, so there's that. Nevertheless, everyone is waiting for the ball to drop regarding the gritty, gutty one.
There is a curious atmosphere regarding exactly what Brett Gardner is worth. Some people think the Yankees could get something good for him, while other's think he's not worth trading for the little amount he'd bring back. Gardner very well might be the most overvalued and undervalued player the Yankees actually have. I guess we can add that to the grit and the gut.Comments of the Day

It's Marvel week on Pinstripe Alley. The melody to this song is nice, just like Gamora yelled before trying to repel Star-Lord's "pelvic sorcery." Seriously though, I could pick everyone of my songs from this week from this incredible soundtrack. I won't, but I could. In terms of Marvel movies, this is still their best one, hands down.
