PSA Comments of the Day 11/22/15: What a Marvelous day

Everybody wants a little romance, Everybody's goin' off the deep end, Everybody needs a second chance, oh

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Everybody's working for the weekend. Except Brian Cashman, he seems to be not working, but still for the weekend. A relatively quiet week for the Yankees, except for of course rumors upon rumors involving Brett Gardner. Unsurprisingly, he's been the center of many of the Yankees' off season trade rumors, as he's one of the Yankees two most moveable pieces that isn't a prospect, the other being Andrew Miller. While it's possible that both may end up moving during the course of the off-season, it doesn't seem like the Yankees are actively shopping them or wanting to get rid of them. They'll only be moved for the right deal, and it seems as though Miller might only be moved if it's arguably a bad deal for the other team, with Cashman wanting to be "overwhelmed" in a deal for him.

Do you see a problem?

Technicalities really

Don't Wake the B---- in Apt. 23. It could be Jessica Jones. (Yes, I know it's supposed to be "Trust")

Honorable Mod Mention

You know what? I win it. Because I had Thanksgiving dinner last night, and that seems pretty honorable to me.

Fun Questions
  • Do you plan on doing any Black Friday shopping? If so, where and what?
  • When is it okay for stores/malls to start playing Christmas music?

Song of the Day

Thousand Eyes by Of Monsters and Men

Welcome to Marvel week on Pinstripe Alley. In celebration of Marvel's Jessica Jones being released this past Friday on Netflix, we'll take this week to reflect on music and songs used in the Marvel-verse. This can be the songs used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or non-MCU Marvel movies, to the many shows that's been associated, or just whatever song you heard in your head the time you read your fist Spiderman comic. Since we're celebrating Marvel week because of Jessica Jones, I figured what better song to use than the song used in the trailer for the show? If you haven't already started powering through the show and want some motivation to start the show, here watch the trailer yourself and feel determined.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. For those of you who have started Jessica Jones, how do you like it so far? Remember not everyone's at the same pace so be mindful and use that nifty spoiler tag. Do you think we'll have another quite week in Yankeeland or will Cashman sign Greinke right after Thanksgiving dinner?
