It has been a quite weekend for the Yankees thus far. No major trades or acquisitions have come about. We're half way through Waitvember and the Yankees have rudely not signed Zack Grienke yet. If you weren't on the Fire Cashman train before, you should be now. It's leaving the station and it's next stop is Rudesville.
There are rumors that the Yankees intend to not sign any big name free agents this offseason. Any new players that are on the team next year could simply be farm hands or acquired via a trade of some kind. It remains to be seen what Cashman and the Yankees front office have up there sleeves. One would like to think that Aaron Hicks will not be the only major thing they do before the 2016 season begins. We all await that day.

Song of the Day
Jupiter, The Bringer of Jollity by Gustav Holst
It's Compositions week on Pinstripe Alley. A week of some of the best orchestral compositions music has to offer. From Holst's The Planets comes Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity. You can hear where some of the influences for the original Conan the Barbarian soundtrack came from. As always, please link us your song of the day.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. There are other sports on today. The New York Rangers go for their 9th win in a row tonight. The Giants hope to once again ruin the Patriots undefeated record.
