PSA Comments of the Day 10/30/15: The Mets need Noah to Windergaard

The Mets are back home in Queens after losing the first two games of the World Series to the Royals. Tonight, they will send Noah Syndergaard, the Norse God of Thunder, to the mound to face Yordano Ventura.

The World Series is officially back in New York City. This time it's in Queens instead of its usually resting place in the Bronx. Yankee Stadium III will have it again, one day. For now, Citi Field will be loud tonight as the Mets take on the Royals in Game 3.

Game 1 and Game 2 did not go the way the Mets intended them to. Game 1 almost did, right up until Jeurys Familia gave up that game tying home run to Alex Gordon. Game 2 absolutely did not, as Johnny Cueto shut the Mets offense down for nine innings, only giving up two hits. Down by two games, it's safe to say that the Amazins' need a win tonight. They will turn to the Mighty Thor, Noah Syndergaard, to drop the hammer on the Royals offense. Vordano Ventura will take the mound for the Royals.

Song of the Day

Doctor Who Theme by Murray Gold

It's TV Theme Song Week on Pinstripe Alley. Since Alex Rodriguez is the 13th Doctor, I figured this would be an appropriate time to use his theme! Oh wait, A-Rod is on Twitter, so I guess my comment in the GOTD section was incorrect. As always, please link us your song of the day.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Game 3 begins at 8PM tonight. Also, in case you missed it, A-Rod was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night. If only he could take Harold Reynolds' place in the booth tonight.
