Readers of Pinstripe Alley, give me your energy! Thanks to your efforts and your willpower, I was able to power up my Spirit Bomb and defeat Greg NOT-orious. While I'm sure someone here might throw him a senzu bean, for now I think we should be fine. It's okay though, while he's off and searching for the Hype-Ebola Mind Chamber, I'll be with you guys ready for anything that comes at us. In the mean time though, let's talk some baseball, eh?
Both American League Division Series are officially over and the Royals will face Blue Jays in the Championship Series. Both games were pretty uneventful, and ended with no controversy...in some parallel universe I'm sure. Over here though, the Rangers and the Blue Jays had one of the wildest postseason games in recent memory. There were errors, there were runs, there was interference, there was protest, there was bat flip (and there were people attempting to throw stuff onto the field and hitting other fans/children but I'd rather not remember how sometimes people can just be awful), this game had it all. Really, if you didn't get to watch the game, you should go watch highlights. And if you did watch that game, you should still watch the highlights.
In the other ALDS, trade deadline acquisition Johnny Cueto pitched an eight-inning gem for the Royals and ensured they would be welcoming the Blue Jays for a best-of-seven series. Tonight though, baseball fans are in stock for a treat as the Mets and the Dodgers have their Game 5 in one of the more exciting match-ups for an elimination game. No matter what happens, this game itself should be fun to watch and a win for everyone (except the losing team and its fans, I guess).
Comments of the Day
I'm starting to notice a trend here. Fine. Be that way. I don't want to show off any of your comments anyway. :(

Honorable Mod Mention
Harlan wins for getting his piece on Joe Girardi's bullpen management getting linked in this awesome piece on Grantland regarding MLB managers and their respective bullpen management. Seriously, you should take some time to read it if you haven't already done so.

Racing in the Street by Bruce Springsteen
Would you look at that? It's Springsteen Week on Pinstripe Alley! How great is that? This theme is so wonderful and so exciting that I've lost all my mahbles! Now I know most of you love this theme, and the rest of you....well you REALLY love this theme. Basically everyone is happy with Springsteen week, literally not one person is upset. Hooray.
Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. As mentioned earlier, there's a pretty important baseball game happening tonight so you can talk about that. There's also Thursday Night Football, so that can be discussed. Or you can talk about how you took a chance on yourself and seized the day. Some guys they just give up living. And start dying little by little, piece by piece. Some guys come home from work, and wash up, and go racing in the street.
(sports are a cool and fun part of our lives, but don't be the worst and throw stuff)
